MEET THE PRODUCERS
INTRODUCING MY TEAM!
Any good movie, or in our case, movie opening, begins with a good group of dedicated, hardworking people. Today, I am pleased to present my own project group. I am confident in our abilities and excited to get to work. I've worked with them both before, so it is clear to me that we will be able to work together efficiently once again. Without further ado, let's meet the girls who are gonna make it happen!
NICOLE
This is Nicole, a fellow student and friend in my AICE Media Studies class, where she sits right in front of me. As a three-year Cambridge student, I know that she has the drive, the most important component to getting anything done, that is necessary to make something new. From our discussions I can tell she is creative. On our last assignment together, she was the one who suggested the idea of a car crash for our Sound Story. It was a very out-of-the-box suggestion, which was very indicative of her capabilities. Furthermore, Nicole has proven herself capable of tackling editing. When we as a group struggled with the Sound Story editing, she didn't give up, and produced fantastic results. There will be a lot of editing involved with this project, and I know she won't be scared to lend a helping hand. Nicole is also heavily involved with the school's yearbook class, meaning she can effectively operate a camera. This is going to be a great asset when we are filming, because she already has some experience with the equipment. I'm very happy to be working with Nicole and know we will make a great film opening together.
SARAH
Meet Sarah! She is another classmate, as well as friend, who sits beside me in our class. Also a three-year Cambridge student, one of her intellectual assets that make her a perfect group member is her willingness to compromise. As you already know, our genre for this project has already been selected; coming of age. When we began this process, Sarah was very eager to make a horror-themed opening. After we talked about the impracticality of that idea, she didn't fight to make the project whatever she wanted, but agreed to do what was best for the group. Another thing about Sarah is her eye. She sees beauty in a lot of places and things, so I think when it comes to angling shots and the mis-en-scene of our movie opening, she will be very active in making it look as good as possible. Moreover, as we are in the process of fine-tuning the idea for our main project, I believe Sarah will make an excellent actor. She has so much charisma and this energy of fun surrounding her that I think will be really cool to channel on the camera. I feel very fortunate to have Sarah on my team and know we can have an amazing film opening with her by my side.
THANKS FOR STOPPING BY!
I hope from my brief descriptions that you all love my teammates just as much as I do. I know these lovely ladies and myself will do our best to make something incredible.
