AND SO IT BEGINS...

Welcome all film enjoyers!

As you can probably see from my account, my name is Emily Wall. I'm a senior at Everglades High School in Mrs. Wozniak's AICE Media Studies class.

I've never run a blog before, let alone visited one, so this should be fun. Genuinely though, I am excited for this class and documenting my process of making a part of a film. Movies and the film industry have always interested me, so I figured this would be a fun class to take as opposed to another less interesting AICE class.

I would describe myself as a creative person, having participated in a lot of creative subjects through the years. My shortened and probably not too time-accurate list would be art, band, theater, writing, singing and acting. So with that, I guess it's time that film got its chance. 

My favorite movie is "The Cat in the Hat" from 2003 directed by Bo Welch. I grew up watching it and never stopped loving it. The humor to this day makes me laugh and the bright color palette of the film is so inviting. I could go on and on about the movie, I even made a PowerPoint presentation about it once to my friends. For these reasons, I have decided to make this movie the theme of my blog, which knowing me could possibly change. I'm very indecisive.

That's all I've got for now, but I'll be back as my filmmaking journey continues.
