FINISHED PROJECT FEELINGS

IT'S OVER ALREADY?

Would it be evil if I said the title is like half sarcastic...? Just kidding, just kidding (half). Though, I have to say I am absolutely ecstatic and over the moon that we finally finished our project!!!!

I learned so much this year through this project. I loved how individual it was, where my group and I had the freedom to create whatever we wanted and guide ourselves with the wisdom our teacher provided us. This is definitely one of the AICE classes I enjoyed more because of how creative it is. I'm more of a creative person, so I've really appreciated having a class where I can channel that in a way that is still academically challenging, in a good way of course.

One of the largest takeaways I have is that I now understand on a personal level why movies take so long to film, and I'll watch movies in a different light from now on, knowing all the work that went into creating these blockbusters. I am especially empathetic for indie movie companies because my god is media creation hard while on a budget!

Most of all I want to thank Sarah and Nicole for joining me on this wild journey. I really think we were an amazing team and all carried our weight. Having a team has to have been my favorite part because we struggled together rather than alone. There truly is strength in groups, because look just how far we've come.

In all seriousness, this was not a brutally terribly awful experience. I really enjoyed working with a group for the common goal of producing a movie. I'll take with me the knowledge that I probably would not survive a job in the film industry, and that's that.
