EQUIPMENT

 WANDS, WINGS, OTHER MAGIC THINGS

...Are absolutely not what we used in the making of this film, but it rhymed, and I'm a big fan of creativity.

For starters, this wasn't by any means (as much as we wanted it to be) a professional production. For this reason, we didn't use a lot of high-end, fancy tools. I like to think we kept it pretty simple, minus the usage of a real camera, courtesy of Nicole. There was a point I thought we'd be using a camera stand to shoot with, but everything was shot handheld.

FILM EQUIPMENT

  • Canon Rebel T6

This is the make and model of Nicole's camera, which was very nice to have. She already knew how to use it extremely well thanks to her status working in yearbook and as a historian. The quality of our shots were gorgeous, even down to the sound. It's something I definitely am happy about.

EDITING EQUIPMENT/SOFTWARE

  • MacBook Air
  • iMovie

Nicole's MacBook Air was the computer utilized for editing, which in retrospect may not have been the greatest decision since it would glitch while trying to edit. We also used iMovie, something already installed on every Apple computer. Its interface is fairly easy to use, you upload clips and can cut them, add words, transitions, etc.

And that's all for equipment. Like I said, pretty simple, nothing too extravagant. Hope to see you around!
