COMING SOON: FIRST DAY OF FILMING

 FILMING - DAY ONE

This post might be a little misleading, as filming has not yet taken place, but believe me it's coming soon!

On a February 13th near you, we will be having our very first day of filming. This will be at sometime in the morning, as that is when all of us are available, so around 11:00 AM.

To set some goals, I hope to at least film the entirety of the flash-forward, as well as identify and resolve all issues in every step of this process, including editing. I also want to discuss the specifics of filming our next scene and get the meeting and supplies ready for it. This means costume, location, time, and everything else you can think of. Also, we'll find out the actual durations of our shots, since the ones in our storyboard were just estimations.

We will have to go get some supplies prior to filming, like the lights to hang around the mirror and typing and printing up the poster we're going to use. I think prep is going to be really fun. We're going to put Sarah in a wig and do some intricate makeup. Also probably with some eyedrops and mascara smearing we'll make the running makeup seem like it came from genuine crying. Now that I'm thinking about it, it might be cool to include the poster that ends our opening in the very first scene to show that the show happening is the same one, maybe having our main character look at it with conflicted feelings as opposed to the optimism she will see it through upon their first encounter. The poster is something that I'm not yet sure how we'll go about, I want it to look really cool so we'll have to look into some templates and formatting for online documents.

That's all for this status update, see you after Sunday's festivities!
