FINAL PROJECT MOOD BOARD

 MOOD BOARD (AGAIN)

Hey (again)! So last time we were in this position, I made a fantasy mood board for a movie that will unfortunately not be getting made, at least not by me. Although, for the one I will be making, there is now a mood board to accompany it and give you all a feel of what I'm wanting it to look like. I'm thrilled to be sharing the amazing mood board I made for Nicole, Sarah, and I's film opening. So, without further ado, here it is!

WHAT ALL THESE PICTURES SIGNIFY

Currently, we only have one character planned for the film, our unnamed main character, who is represented by all these pictures. She will start out a shy, modest girl, with a look that blends right in with the rest of the world. But, over a chain of events following her decision to sign up for a rock show, she will become a rockstar. You can see a poster for some, "Battle of the Bands", which is something I will be drawing inspiration from for the poster our character will see and become intrigued by. Our idea is to begin with a flash forward, showing you the girl preparing for her big moment, but she's crying and the audience is left to wonder why. She will sit in the dressing room with makeup streaming down her face as she attempts to fix it herself, this being the explanation for the images of the clown and woman with black beneath her eyes. She will be prepared to rock out, although not super enthusiastically due to her emotions, a guitar in her hands as a crowd cheers her on. Then, as soon as she is about to perform, we will jump back in time to who she was before the big change, a regular student, our movie preparing to give the audience an explanation for the first scene they viewed. We plan on filming at our own school, which is why I've inserted a picture of it, selecting areas colored very blandly as to fit in with the drastic change from a monotonous life to one of a rocker. Sarah had the brilliant idea to focus on objects within the school, such as an exit sign, to establish the setting once we do return to the past.

I believe my mood board does the concept we are working with justice. I only hope we can translate this imagery into our video once we begin shooting. Thanks for reading and see you next time!
