FINAL PROJECT IDEA
GETTING INTO THE SPECIFICS
My group and I have been talking, and we have the basic premise of our movie. It's going to be the backstory of an upcoming rockstar in high school. So, obviously we're working with our coming of age genre, but we hope to spice it up as a little more than just the simple girl in high school by throwing in that rockstar aspect.
DIVVYING UP THE WORK
HOW EXCITING
I'm really excited to see how our creativity shows in the movie opening. We've already started talking about one specific scene we want to do that I think is going to come out really nice, but that's a surprise I'll save for later. Without giving it away, some really cool makeup will hopefully be involved. I also think the story we came up with is something we can bring to life really effectively, our visions coming to fruition. I'm very pleased to be writing the script, which I think will be a fun experience for me and will teach me more about myself. I mean this in terms of career choices, if writing is something I maybe consider going into.
YET SCARY
Some worries are playing on my mind, though I do think we're going to do very well. I fear for us struggling to gain access to a dressing room that we hope to use in order to film one of our scenes. I'm also worried for when we begin doing things that we don't have experience with, because not everything is going to come naturally. I've never storyboarded, and I know that is coming up really soon. There is also a fear of overwhelmingness inside me, but I know that I won't have to bear it alone.
